About US

Children’s Social Expo

Children's Social Expo is a child development program for children 6 weeks to 12 years old located in Iowa Colony (Rosharon) Tx. We will provide a safe space for children to learn. We will provide care for children which entails Social Emotional Learning and academics. We will also focus on meeting children where they are academically and socially. We will offer supports for all students and our director is certified in Early childhood - 6th grade and special education. Included in her certifications is dyslexia and non-expiring director’s license. Families love the focus that we place on academics and social skills to support the whole child. I am a teacher with over 20 years’ experience, and I look forward to supporting students.

We will offer care for students needing care with special needs such as behavior support services, autism and dyslexia. We are in a desert area without support for families needing childcare for infants up to 12 years old. We will develop programs for each age group and include early childhood development for our infants, toddlers, and preschoolers by offering activities for them to develop and create with parents on goals and work to reach them. We provide a curriculum that is child based and developed when each child has been evaluated in order for the staff to understand their needs. We will have dyslexia and special education services and provide individualized plans for all children in order to teach them efficiently and support them in meeting their goals. We will also offer tutoring for students enrolled in the before school/ afterschool programs that need support. Specials will be provided everyday for 45 minutes a day which includes art, music, science and physical education.

The Texas Rising Star program is a quality rating and improvement system designed for early childhood programs across Texas. Programs that participate in Texas Rising Star meet higher quality standards compared to many other childcare providers.

Our curriculum is designed to meet the needs of the whole child. We recognize that the cognitive, emotional, social, and physical needs of each child are unique, and our programs are carefully designed to stimulate, engage and challenge the individual needs of each of our students.

Our Goals

Children’s Social Expo’s goal is to empower children with the self-confidence, self-assurance, knowledge, and moral awareness necessary to establish a strong foundation for his/her future.

We observe low teacher/child ratios, furnish the classrooms with equipment and materials that are essential to an exceptional learning environment, employ quality staff and commit to excellence in the services we provide. Additionally, our school meets or exceeds the high standards established by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) and Wonder School.

Pre-School Age Program

Children’s Social Expo’s curriculum has been carefully designed to stimulate, engage and challenge each stage of your child’s development. Our experienced team of early childhood education professionals implement this curriculum via programs that balance structured learning activities, physical activity, free play, and most of all, a lot of hugs. We offer fun, educational activities that instill a desire for learning!

Reading is a key factor in your child’s education, and Children’s Social Expo promotes literacy at an early age. We have a reading library with an abundant selection of books that meet the interest of each child. Interactive reading is a part of the daily lesson plan and, when age appropriate, your child will be encouraged to read on his/her own.

Our curriculum enhances your child’s imagination, creativity, social skills and basic values while challenging him/her to build self-assurance and problem-solving skills.

School Age Program

Children’s Social Expo offers a program to fit the needs of parents and children who require before and after school care. Our after-school age program is designed with the needs of the older child in mind. We offer opportunities for active and quiet play, arts and crafts, games, outdoor recreation, and special projects. Additionally, a quiet area is provided for children who need to work on homework, special studies or wish to do quiet reading. Students participating in this program will be taken to and/or picked up from local schools and snacks are provided for all students upon arrival from school.

Please speak with the director about camp when school is out for extended days.

Summer Camp Program

When local schools are not in session during the summer, Children’s Social Expo offers a program designed with age-appropriate activities and fun-filled field trips. Detailed activity schedules will be available in the front office in the spring. Speak with the director for more information.

Daily Schedule

Children like having daily routines. Daily schedules are established and posted in the classroom to meet both the needs of the different age groups as well as our licensing agency. The schedule provides opportunity for large group participation, small group interaction, independent learning in activity centers, and outside exploration and play. In addition, each classroom has scheduled meal, snack and rest times.
